Strong Interest in FIT&RUN 2026

Preparation for FIT&RUN 2026 is well underway, and exhibitor registration has far exceeded expectations. Around 85% of the exhibition space has already been sold or reserved, which means only a limited number of stands are still available.

Everything points to the event becoming even larger in scope than the show held last August. FIT&RUN 2026 will take place in Laugardalshöll on 20–21 August, and around 22–23 thousand visitors are expected over the two days.

Companies that take part gain a unique opportunity to meet their target audience face to face at one of the largest and most popular running festivals held in Iceland.

Secure Your Spot at FIT&RUN 2026 – Registration Opens September 15

General registration for companies to secure floor space at FIT&RUN 2026 will open after September 15, 2025. Exhibitors from the 2025 show will have priority to retain their previous floor space until that date, after which registration will be open to all.

Largest FIT&RUN to Date Sets New Participation Record

The FIT&RUN exhibition, held at Laugardalshöll on August 21–22, 2025, drew a large crowd. Participation in the Íslandsbanki Reykjavík Marathon reached an all-time high, with 17,786 registered runners — over 3,000 more than last year. The exhibition was also open to the general public, and it is estimated that around 20,000 people attended over the two days.

Most Creative Booth Award – Heilsa

Dómnefnd sýningarinnar valdi bás Heilsu sem frumlegasta sýningarsvæðið. Í umsögn dómnefndar segir meðal annars: „Heilsu básinn var einstaklega fjölbreyttur og skemmtilegur. Uppblásna hliðið vakti strax athygli, í boði voru heilsudrykkir til smakkunar, vörur til sölu, leikir með glæsilegum vinningum, barnahorn og margt fleira. Þjónustustig starfsfólks var hátt og viðmótið frábært, sem gerði heimsókn í básinn að eftirminnilegri upplifun.“ Við óskum Heilsu innilega til hamingju með verðskuldaðan titil! 🎉

Nike Awarded Best Exhibition Booth

The exhibition jury has selected the Nike booth as the best-designed exhibition stand of the show. In the jury’s comments, the following was noted: “Nike presented a professional, simple yet stylish design that reflected the brand’s strong identity in an impressive way. The red carpet made a bold impact, the screens were eye-catching, and the treadmill gave visitors the opportunity to try out shoes on site. Visitors could also purchase products at the booth and were treated to branded candy and drinks.” We warmly congratulate Nike on this well-deserved recognition! 🎉

Successful FIT&RUN 2024 exhibition

The 2024 exhibition was held in the old hall at Laugardalshöll in August 2024 due to renovations on the floor of the new hall, where the exhibition has been held since 2022. As the exhibition has grown year by year, the floor space was fully booked well ahead of the event. Around 60 exhibitors took part, and approximately 16,000 guests visited the exhibition over the two days it was held.

Total
